At 5:20 pm of October 9, 2014, with the thoughtful arrangement of UK Shaolin Cultural Center and The Unity of Faiths Foundation, Ven. Abbot Shi Yongxin and his accompanying persons visited London Westminster Cathedral after visiting The London Central Mosque Trust Limited and The Islamic Cultural Centre .Ven. Abbot Shi Yongxin paid a visit to the Archbishop Kevin McDonald. Both sides had a friendly exchange.

Seeing Ven. Abbot Shi Yongxin , the archbishop enthusiastically said, "I'm glad you can come to Westminster Abbey, it is also a kind of glory for me."He also said the Cardinal was joining in an activity in Rome , and convey greetings and best wishes from the Cardinal to Yongxin, the abbot and Shaolin Culture delegation.
Ven. Abbot Shi Yongxin said, Buddhist and Catholic has great influence in China,both of which enjoy equal religious policy.China is a multi-ethnic and multi-religious country, They has been peaceful coexistence between each other.Especially the past 30 years, it's a good period for the development of religions in China .

After visiting the Westminster,Ven. Abbot Shi Yongxin and other accompanying personnel went to London Singh Sabah Gurdwarra for communication and got a warm reception from the head of the temple of Sikhism.Abbot Yongxin said ,India and China both kept the noble religious and cultural traditions.Generation after generation pursued spiritual and material aspects of a happy life along the teachings of ancient wise men.
