At 3 pm of October 9, 2014, with the thoughtful arrangement of UK Shaolin Cultural Center and The Unity of Faiths Foundation, Ven.Abbot Shi Yongxin and his accompanying persons visited The London Central Mosque Trust Limited and The Islamic Cultural Centre .Ven. Abbot Shi Yongxin was warmly welcomed by Dr.Dubayan and Dr.Hojjat Ramzy .They carried on the conversation with pleasure.There were wonderful interaction among them.

Accompanied by Dr.Hojjat Ramzy ,Ven. Abbot Shi Yongxin and his accompanying persons visited the hall , library and other places of the mosque to konw about the origin and development of Islam, and its doctrine, etc.

After that, the Shaolin temple monks in the mosque hall shows wonderful Shaolin kung fu and  win the cheers of the audience.Among the audience, there are quite a few children, they are very interested in Shaolin kung fu. Many children hope to have the opportunity to the Shaolin temple to learn Shaolin kung fu.

During the interaction, Dr. Dubayan mention that three years ago, there was a delegation of Asian groups- South Korea visiting the center .This time Shaolin culture delegation is the first Chinese delegation to the center,which was a milestone.Dr. Dubayan said, both Buddhism and Islam advocated of mercy.Two sects of believers can talk together and communicate with each other, which was of great significance to promote the harmony between the religion.The communication between groups today is far more than in the past. The world civilization is created by different races and religion believers . Although there are conflicts and wars in the world, but the future will be better.Only if more people know about religion, eliminate prejudice, we can achieve peace and prosperity of the human beings.

Ven. Abbot Shi Yongxin highy praised Islam,which has made a positive contribution to the development of Chinese civilization. Many great ancient philosophers in the history has created civilization and made huge contribution for the region construction.Islam blend the beauty of nature into life, that is the same with other religions.The pursuit of beauty, happiness of life, the pursuit of peace is a common wish of the world.At last,Yongxin, the abbot expressed  gratitude to the center for the kind invitation again and also warmly invited Dr. Dubayan,Dr. Hojjat Ramzy  and the cultural centre staff to the Shaolin temple ,hoping that they can jointly promote interfaith exchanges and make contributions to world peace and human development.
