Abbot Yongxin mentioned, “joining the Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin system is one of Shaolin families. It is hoped that everyone can pay more attention to the development of the Shaolin Duanpin System and come back to Shaolin Temple often.”On the morning of June 8, 2021, a group led by master Shi Yongxin, abbot of Shaolin Temple, visited Shaolin Temple’ s affiliated temple--Panshan Northern Shaolin Temple in Jizhou district of Tianjin to investigate the project progress, receiving a warm welcome from temple’s chief monk Yanpei and benefactors.

The group led by abbot Shi Yongxin visited the Mahaviro Hall, Sutra Hall, apartment for monks, Guanyin Hall and other buildings under the leadership of master Yanpei. So far the construction and decoration project of the Meditation Hall has been completed, covers an area of 1,000 square meters and can hold 200 monks for Da Chan Qi. Abbot Yongxin gave recognition to the project progress of Northern Shaolin Temple and put forward suggestions for the existing problems, hoping that the temple could infrastructure construction as soon as possible and service local believers better.

Abbot Yongxin had a conversation with Wang Lijun, Party secretary of district committee and relevant department leaders during the period. Abbot Yongxin explained the history of Northern Shaolin Temple, and the origin of Norther Shaolin Temple and Songshan Shaolin Temple, hoping that the local government can continue supporting the construction of Northern Shaolin Temple, play its role earlier and service local economic cultural construction.

Secretary Wang Lijun welcomed the arrival of abbot Yongxin, gave recognition to Shaolin culture’ s influence on local area, had high hopes for the trend of future development, and also expressed that the construction of Northern Shaolin Temple would continue getting support.
