Jiaoheng (1149-1219, style name: Xuming, secular surname: Wang) is a famous Chan master during the Jin Dynasty. He was appointed by the official to the abbot of Shaolin Temple, with the mission of promoting Dharma. He died at age 70 in 1219. His pagoda was built in 1223 at Fawan Temple, Songshan Mountain. However, the pagoda went to ruin and only pagoda epigraph at Fawan Temple remained to date.
