The drama’ s English name is Sutra, Chinese name “佛經”. It tells Chinese and Shaolin Kungfu stories with the manner connecting traditional Shaolin Kungfu and western modern dance. The performance not only blends forms of Eastern and Western arts, but also condenses gems of wisdom between the East and West. The work was directed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, composed by five world-class musicians and joined by 20 Shaolin Kungfu monks together.
